NUVIA operates in the USA through TSSD Services Inc, which was acquired in March 2024.
Established in 1999, TSSD Services, Inc. is a multidisciplinary professional and technical staff augmentation services firm with a mission to provide expert management and technical staff resources to the energy and utility sector with an emphasis on the nuclear industry.
TSSD specializes in decommissioning and environmental remediation. TSSD personnel manage decontamination, structure demolition, decommissioning and side remediation projects including the segregation, packaging, and the disposal of low level radioactive, hazardous and clean demolition wastes.
In addition to this, NUVIA’s presence in the USA consists in:
- Direct product sales to utilities and the US Government
- Collaboration and partnership with US-based companies to address export markets
- Radiation protection services to US Utilities and operators of decommissioning projects
