To pay tribute to the companies involved in the construction of the ITER site since 2007, a “Wall of Industry” has been installed in the corridor leading to the Board Room on the 5th floor. NUVIA is very proud to be one of these companies and to contribute on a daily basis to the construction of the world’s largest tokamak.
Since 2010, NUVIA has been working on the ITER site in :
– Civil engineering, with the design and supply of seismic and spherical columns and the sealing of several hundred hoppers.
– Fire protection, with the installation of smoke extraction ducts, the design, manufacture and supply of wrapping and pipe protection. Fire protection valves are currently being designed in our workshops.
– Scaffolding on several buildings.
Both the work and the equipment are highly complex and require us to push the boundaries of technology.
Well done to the NUVIA teams working on this complex and exciting project!
